A haven for bikies
The Coffee Garage is a basic metal shed , originally built as a Nursery, now converted into a haven for all those who love the motorbike.
Coffee, milkshakes, jaffles, pies, burgers and breakfast, a shop with bikie accessories and clothing; including the traditional red and blue bandanas plus of course leather jackets.
Bikie memorabilia for decoration. If you are lucky you can score the leather lounges for seating otherwise it is outdoor furniture either inside or on the terrace under a shade canopy. The view is reasonably green with trees at a distance but a 6ft cyclone wire fence topped with barbed wire surrounds the grounds.
There were at least twelve bikes parked on my visit but most seemed to be the older generation of retirees who can afford a Harley. Only one good looking young man with tatts, bandana, torn denim was there to nudge any erotic fantasy that boys and girls might have.
The coffee comes in takeaway containers, even if you are having it there, I prefer to have coffee in a ceramic cup with a spoon rather than a wooden stick. The only good thing is that it does come with an old fashioned vanilla wafer biscuit; there is a nostalgic feeling about the crunch and the rather tasteless vanilla cream.
